One of the greatest parts of our job is the reward of
hearing updates on a happy Red K Stable horse in their new
home!  Please take a moment to check out some of the
horses we have sold and where they are now!  Updated 5/26
When JEM Farm was looking for a project
pony in the spring of '09, we thought
"Esme" would fit the bill!  Sure enough,
after Erin of JEM Farm put some more
training on this 3yo pony, she ended up
being the new mount of Abigail Bosley!
Here are pictures of Esme & Abigail from
a very successful 2010 show season that
included a ribbon rich NY State Fair!
CONGRATS to Abigail & Esme!!!
Abigail's younger sister, Courtney, now has a
fancy pony of her own!  "Jazzy" now resides
with Esme at the Bosley farm and we
couldn't be happier to see her in such a
wonderful home!  Tracey (mom) rides Jazzy
too (photo at left)!  We expect to see these
two sisters on their two wonder ponies
dominating the pony division in 2011!  Thank
you to Donna & Larry of
JEM Farm for
knowing that this was a PERFECT match!
"Real Fancy Class Act" is now enjoying the
good life with his owner, Colleen, on the
University Of Maine's Equestrian Team!
"Oliver" is one of those super talented 3yo
horses and we are so happy he is utilizing all
of that talent!  Colleen made our day when
she wrote to tell us how Oliver is excelling
at the shows and how loved he is at the
UMaine barn!  THANK YOU Colleen for loving
this boy and doing such an amazing job with
him!
Without a doubt, the all-time favorite mule of
Red K Stable was "Roscoe"  This beautiful boy
could always be counted on as a steady trail
mount. Our hopes of finding a perfect home
for him were realized when Sandy bought him!
Roscoe now resides in Cortland, NY at one of
the most beautiful farms we have seen!
Sandy and her husband have a perfect mule
home and Roscoe now has several long-eared
pasture buddies!  THANK YOU SANDY!!!
We are always suckers for a cute pony...
especially a POA. Troy picked out Polly, certain
she would be perfect for
JEM Farm's lessons.
Donna Sorrell of JEM Farm agreed!  Donna tells
us that Polly has quickly become a lesson favorite
and we're pretty sure its only a matter of time
before she is owned by one of the students!
Here are photos of Polly out and about!
Our job gives us the opportunity to meet so
many wonderful people! Larry & Sandy have
become FAVORITE customers of ours and we
know that any equine will be loved and spoiled
in their care. Here is "Jack" also known as
"Donkey Donk" driving with Sandy!  We took
Jack in on trade and his owners really hoped
he would find a great home. Their hopes were
realized when Jack went to live with Larry &
Sandy - he is now a part of a wonderful family!
"Misques Windy Girl" also resides with Larry
& Sandy and Donkey Donk!  This oh so pretty
paint mare is Sandy's "Windy Girl" and she
got plenty of trail miles this past season!  It
always makes us sad to see horses not used
but that is something we never worry about
with Larry & Sandy - their horses can be
seen on the trails of Otter Creek and
Whiskey Flats all summer long!
There will always be
something special about a
little girl and her horse.
"Ultimate Bar Star" found
his little girl with Abbie
Sample. "Barney" has a
wonderful life in a GREAT 4H
home!  Once again, thank you
to
JEM Farm for helping to
make this match!  We expect
to see Abbie & Barnie right
along side Jazzy & Esme at
the shows in 2011!
When our friend Cindy was on the hunt for a
horse for her grandson, she answered an ad for
"Playmate" never realizing it was our ad!  As luck
would have it, this sweet red mare ended up
being a perfect match for Jarod!  Here is a shot
of this new team at JEM Farm having a lesson!
Both Jarod and Cindy have sent us updates
letting us know that Autumn is very loved and
doing great in her new home!  We will be watching
for Jarod and Autumn at the open and 4H shows
in 2011!!!
Troy saw "Sassafrass" at a sale and just had to bring
her home. This predominantly white Appaloosa/Walker
pony has proven to be quite the little packer!
Our daughter Emily's best friend, Heather, was in
need of a safe mount.....and a match was made!
Heather boards Sassafrass here with us and the two
of them can be found riding in the ring or around the
yard!  To the left is a photo of Sass performing her
"begging" maneuver!  Heather has become our "third
daughter" and if you stop and visit, odds are good
Heather will be here! We also would like to take a
moment to thank Heather for all the help around the
barn!  We love you and Sass!!!
This is one of the nicest 3yo horses to ever come
through here. "Zips Dunit Sexy" very quickly found
her new home with Jocelyn!  Sweet, pretty,
talented, quiet - truly the whole package!
There aren't a whole lot of 2yo horses that we
recommend for 4H mounts. "High Price Call Girl" is the
exception. "Harlow" was born and raised with us and has
proven to be one of the easiest youngsters to ever start.
When Tamarra was on the hunt for a new mount, we
thought perhaps Harlow might fit. Having watched
Tamarra grow up, we knew she was an excellent rider.
To say we are delighted that Harlow is now owned and
loved by Tamarra is an understatement!  Every update
makes us smile!  This team will be one to watch for at
the shows in 2011!  Harlow is very lucky to be loved by
such a wonderful young lady!
"Honky Tonk Rock" was definitely a farm
favorite. We just knew "Tonka" would shine
in the show pen with the right rider. That
rider came in the form of Marcy from
Vermont. We knew as soon as we saw her
with Tonka that he was meant to be hers!
It was a very happy morning when I sat down
to check email and had one from Marcy. She
informed me that their very first show
resulted in 3 Firsts, 2 Seconds, a Fourth,
and a Sixth!  GREAT JOB MARCY & TONKA!
Once again, JEM Farm is responsible
for making a perfect match!  We took
"Marley", this 3yo palomino mare, up to
JEM to show them. Donna & Larry knew
someone looking that might just love
this horse. Phone calls were made, Lyn
came up to see Marley, and the next
day Marley was off to her new home!
We are thrilled to hear that Lyn loves
Marley and that this very pretty girl
has an absolutely wonderful new home!
We hope to have a new photo soon but
in the meantime, here is a photo of
"Marley" when she was here.
When Brian called looking for a mount for his
daughter, he had already learned a valuable
lesson for a horsey parent - look BEFORE you
bring the child!  So, out came Brian to see the
horses and "Heidi" seemed like she might just
work.  The next visit involved the whole family
and yes, Heidi was a good fit. We had always
ridden Heidi western but we tried her English to
see how it went....lo and behold, this mare was
meant to ridden English all along!  We ran into
Brian and family this summer and Heidi is very
much loved in her home with them!!!
To see all of our "sold" horses and where they
are now, be sure to check out our
Facebook page!  We post updates about the
horses as we get them for everyone to enjoy!
"Doc Robinson" is a horse we've known for a long
time and when he came to live with us he quickly
became the favorite mount!!!  Doc has had a long
and successful show career and is just chock full
of personality!  His years as a show horse,
however, taught him that if he knows more than
his rider, he can easily get out of doing any work!
We knew that Doc had to have just the right
home so he didn't become king of the barn and
that home came in the form of Triple H Stables.
Doc now resides in the care of 3 wonderful young
ladies under the guidance of Mark Potter. Watch
for them at a show near you!!!
"Handsome Son Of A Gun" (also known as
Shooter and Mr Sexy Pony) was possibly
the fanciest show pony we have ever
owned! This plucky POA gelding was born to
be seen by the judges!  We wanted to be
certain that Shooter found a home that
would put him in the spotlight where he
belongs and Annette is that home!  Shooter
now resides in Ontario where he is owned &
loved by Annette & her daughter!
"Nuther Du Delight" or
"Dee" was a personal horse
of ours that we dearly
loved. Finding her the
perfect home was critical
and that home is with
Elizabeth! Here is this new
team at 2011 4H Horse
Camp!
"Ima Pleasant Repeat" or "Stevie" is
a big beautiful Appaloosa mare that
truly can do it all!  We desperately
wanted to see this mare in Clinton
County's 4H Program! To our delight,
Owen is Stevie's new owner and will
be showing her in 2011!  We see
great things to come for this new
team!  CONGRATS Owen!
"Frankie" is just a super quiet and
laid back guy that happens to be
really tall and really flashy too!
This boy wasn't a flashy standout
under saddle but he was very steady
and very quiet - perfectly happy just
going with the flow!  We are
delighted that Frankie now resides
with Lianne & her family!
"Bo" is a 6yo ranch gelding that has
been there, done that, and doesn't
fuss about anything! What a rock
solid boy this horse is to ride!  He's
a super trail horse that is happy to
work cows as well. The PERFECT
home for Bo was found with the
Zeller family - complete with cows!!!
